Lise Westzynthius
Lise Westzynthius was born by a Finnish mother and a Danish father. She is a very melancholic (in the good sense of the word) singer-songwriter, that writes and sing in a wide range of languages (counting Danish, French etc.). She was a founding member of the noise pop group Luksus, together with the Danish singer-songwriter Mikael Simpson, that existed from 1994 to 1999.
Luksus' cds have become somewhat of collectors items, which makes them rather hard to get ones hands on.
After the group split up, Lise embarked on a solo career. She has so far released three solo albums, "Heavy Dream" (2001), "Rock, You Can Fly" (2004) and "Siberian Mission" (2007).
Besides her solo work, she has collaborated with, amongst others, Rhonda Harris, Niels Skousen, Superjeg and Test.
